What's in a Riftbound Deck?

Every RiftDecks order is a tournament-ready product, not a pile of loose cards. Here's exactly what you get, how we build it, and why it's different from anything else in the Riftbound TCG market.

TL;DR

  • 64-card tournament deck, sleeved and ready to play. Open the box, register, compete.
  • 25% off TCGPlayer English market. Live-priced, not guesswork.
  • Core Edition (1 build) or Strategy Edition (5 builds). One deck or full archetype mastery.
  • Ships from Germany via DHL. Within 2 weeks of meta close.
  • Limited units per deck. Weekly drops.

Core Edition: One Tournament Build

The Core Edition is the standard RiftDecks product. You get the exact 64-card tournament decklist that's winning events right now:

  • 1 Legend card. The deck's commander, foil by default.
  • 2–4 Champion Units. Your key followers, all Rare foil.
  • 20–30 Units. The core board presence.
  • 15–25 Spells. Removal, combat tricks, finishers.
  • 4–8 Gear. Equippable items and utility.
  • 1–3 Battlefields. Persistent location effects.
  • 1 Rune. Passive buff for your strategy.
  • Chinese translations sheet. Card-by-card English reference.

Every card is sleeved in opaque matte sleeves. Open the package, register for a tournament, play. No additional purchases required.

Every Core Edition deck is 25% off the TCGPlayer English market total for all 64 cards. Prices are computed live, not estimated, not rounded up. You can see the exact card-by-card TCGPlayer comparison on every deck page.

Strategy Edition: Five Tournament Builds

The Strategy Edition includes the Core Edition decklist plus every unique card from 4 more tournament-winning builds for the same Legend. That's typically 100+ cards total.

Why? Because the competitive meta shifts. A Legend that wins with an aggro build one week might pivot to midrange or control the next. Strategy Edition gives you the card pool to adapt without buying more singles.

  • 5 complete decklists. The top 5 performing builds for your Legend.
  • All unique cards. No duplicates across lists; every card you need for all 5 builds.
  • Sideboard staples. Tech cards that appear in tournament sideboards.
  • Strategy guide. Which build to register for which matchups.

Strategy Edition is for players who want to master a Legend across all its viable archetypes. One purchase, every competitive option.

Priced at the same 25% off rate, calculated on all unique cards across all 5 builds. Because many cards overlap between builds, the per-build cost drops dramatically compared to buying 5 separate decks.

Card Finishes

Every deck ships in standard rarity by default (foil on Rare and Epic cards, non-foil on Common and Uncommon). Three independent finish options are available at checkout:

Foil

Upgrades every Common and Uncommon card in your deck to foil. Your entire deck shines. 25% off the TCGPlayer foil premium for each card.

Alt-Art

Swaps eligible cards to their alternate artwork variants. Unique illustrations that stand out in tournament play. Availability varies by card.

Overnumbered

Special foiling with UV texturing on collector-variant cards. The most visually striking cards in Riftbound. Availability varies by card.

Finishes are independent: combine Foil + Alt-Art, or just pick Overnumbered. Each option is 25% off TCGPlayer market for the upgraded version. The deck page shows you exactly how many cards are available in each finish and the premium cost.

Vault Addon

Vault

€20
  • Deck box
  • Double sleeves on every card
  • Sideboard in toploaders
  • Legend card in magnetic case

The Vault is the recommended add-on for players who want full protection. Your Legend card goes in a magnetic case, sideboard and strategy cards get toploaders, and every card gets double-sleeved.

How Tournament Decks Are Built

Every week, we analyze tournament results and competitive data to identify the 10 highest-performing Riftbound decks in the current meta:

  • Tournament data. We track Top 8 finishes, win rates, and meta share across competitive events. Only decks with proven results make the cut.
  • Archetype diversity. Each meta cycle features a spread of playstyles: aggro, midrange, control, and combo. You'll always find a deck that matches how you want to play.
  • Chinese meta advantage. Because China gets sets months early, their meta is more developed. We use Chinese tournament data to identify decks that Western players haven't optimized yet.
  • Quality sourcing. Cards are sourced from trusted Chinese distributors and individually inspected. Every card in every deck passes our QC check before sleeving. Learn more about our Germany-based fulfillment.

Each weekly meta features limited units per deck. Once a deck sells out, it's gone until the next meta cycle. If you're eyeing a specific Legend, don't wait.

Sleeving & Packaging

Every deck ships pre-sleeved in opaque matte sleeves. This is tournament-mandatory anyway, so we do it for you:

  • Opaque backs for tournament compliance (no card recognition through the sleeve)
  • Matte finish for shuffle feel and durability
  • Every card individually sleeved and verified
  • Shipped in a rigid card-safe mailer from Germany via DHL/Deutsche Post

If you add the Vault, your Legend goes in a magnetic case and sideboard cards go in toploaders. The deck gets double-sleeved.
